Glandore Business Centre

Background

Meteor Lite were pleased to play a role in the renovations of Glandore office space in Arthur house, Belfast. Due to the high running hours, Glandore required a new LED lighting system that reduced energy consumption for the business.

Solution

In the offices throughout the premises, we replaced the previous light fittings with 36W LED 600mm x 600mm flat panels or 40W LED 1200mm x 300mm flat panels. For the reception areas and communal areas, we used a selection of light fittings with the majority of these being 18W PL down lights. The lights were supplied by Aurora.

Result

The new lighting system has enabled Glandore to save upwards of 100,000kW of power annually thus reducing their electricity bills. Each fitting has a life expectancy of approximately 40,000-50,000 hours which means for businesses like Glandore with high running hours, they can significantly reduce their maintenance and replacement costs.
